About Us
Our History
Hornsby RSL Gymnastics has been operating for 60 years (formerly Hornsby RSL Youth Club Gymnastics), providing the local community with high quality and affordable gymnastics programs. When the club first began it was a very simple set up with classes being held on judo mats! Now some 60 years later, in exactly the same building, we are one of the most successful gymnastics club on Sydney's North Shore! The club has come a very long way in the past 60 years and we are now a permanently set up gymnastics facility with modern equipment and specialised equipment for our various programs.
Hornsby RSL Gymnastics is and always has been a non-profit organisation. We pride ourselves on our high quality teaching and small class ratios so each child can gain the most out of their gymnastics experience.
Our club is run by a voluntary Management Committee which oversees the operations of the club. The daily tasks of the gym are run by our professional, qualified and friendly staff who ensure that every child has an enjoyable experience at gymnastics!
Our coaching staff are all registered coaches with Gymnastics NSW and continually upgrade and update their qualifications to further develop their coaching skills and to ensure our programs can be delivered to the highest standard possible.
Hornsby RSL Gymnastics is proudly sponsored by the Hornsby War Memorial Hall in which our gymnastics facility is located. We are extremely grateful for this long standing relationship and the support that the Hornsby War Memorial Hall offers our club.
In 2020, Hornsby RSL Gymnastics became a Sub Club of the Hornby RSL Club, a proud connection we look forward to developing in the years ahead. We thank the Hornsby RSL Club for their support.

Volunteering
Hornsby RSL Gymnastics has a wonderful team of volunteers who make up our Management Committee to oversee the running of the club. We welcome new members so please get in contact if you are interested to join our committee.
We also greatly appreciate those people who have the time to volunteer and help out in other ways including supporting the clubs community involvement initiatives, working bees, IT assistance, handy man jobs and the list goes on. If you would like to volunteer in any capacity, please let us know!
